The lettering on the door was hand painted, compliments of Eric Kosalko of "The Combat Garage", MIL SPEC Vehicle Restorations. They do fine work.

Eric also paints "pin ups" on leather flying jackets for aviation enthusiasts.

Several NOS jeep engines in the crate have turned up over the years so you would think a new GMC engine would surface somewhere - it sure would be nice to actually see what a factory fresh engine looked like.

Ranger - do you think you can get a pic of those NOS GMC engine sheetmetal parts and send them to me so I can post them as a reference for those overseas who can't easily order that TM Ordnance paint.
I love the smell of cosmoline in the morning!

After trying to install the cardboard headliner and losing my religion I went with the fiberglass. It needs some trimming around the edges. After it is installed and painted OD, you will never tell it is fiberglass unless you touch it. I did install DYNAMAT between the headliner and roof and also behind the seat. It took some of the "tinniess" out of the cab.

Music to my ears, with a uniform gap around the door opening. Lets not forget, with new springs installed in the door lock mechanism, you will not have droopy door handles. Just another nice "finishing" touch. Avaibile from Jim Carter by the way.
