This looks like a factory closed cab 6x6. it would be the first one i have ever seen or heard of. note the data tags on header and the round gauges.

No sorry, but not a bad machine. Standard WC 6x 6 with added civilian Power Wagon cab.

but why data tags and round gauges? power wagons had data tags on the glove box and dash and never had round gauges. maybe a one off order from chrysler by the gov?

Someone has just taken the glovebox tags and put them on the header panel. The giveaway there is the serial number plate which is screwed on, where all the factory serial plates were riveted.

why remove all the PW data tags which some are the same as the wCs. then put them on the header. also cant explain the round gauges. I owuld like to know what the tag onthe sahs says. in the center. Dodge did build some one off custom order stuff during and after WW2 on 3/4 ton and 1.5 ton chassis

Also the civilian windshield opener, civilian cowl lights, no holes for the rear window screen...all different from any military order.

Don't get me wrong, I like it. As for the gauges I can't imagine anybody that did the rest of the work could not have done that as well.
If I had lots of time and money, that would sure be fun to rebuild. I hope they didn't use that big old winch in the back hard or they likely did some frame damage to it.

I still think its a one off from chrysler. hard to tell but I dont see any holes where the PW data tags would have been removed from. the two wheel drive and WC 1/2 ton cabs dont fit. military light or ignition switch as well. I will message guy about tag in center of dash

You can see how the dash panel has been welded in.,

Also the data plates are in the wrong location for a closed cab. they should be on the glove box and around the gauges
and if you look at the pics the front of the bed has been cut and patched in to fit the cab on.

Just notice the center of the dash. The water fall does not go all the way down. That is definitely postwar as no Dodges were made like that till 1946
