9.00 x 16 Flaps for WC51

Post by G. Miskovsky »

All,

Doing the tire thing, as I recall the combat rims use a center hole flap and not a offset one correct?

Assuming you are not using a steel bead-lock, which has a centre hole, but are using a rubber flap. If you have one hole and need the other a hot solder iron or a drill will soon solve the problem. The Two-Piece rims have a slot so it is able to use either centre or off-set if you are stuck for the correct tube in an emergency. If you have a tube with a centre straight valve stem it will be a pain to inflate because it will hit on the wheel centre.

I believe the correct tube (and flap hole) is, centre position valve, with a long right-angle bent stem. like dual wheel trucks use.

PS * Found a great original drawing of a Dodge rim cross section but the message on this forum says "Full" when I try to attach. Definitely centre hole!
