Build Card ARRIVED!

I paid attention to small detail, crossed all T's and dotted all I's as well...

However, I'm going on 5.5 weeks waiting on the build card  . Anyone else out there have to wait that long in the past? Check has not been cashed, and good contact information was left on the request form.

Like a kid waiting on Christmas

It's been several years since I received my build card but I don't recall it taking that long. Might not hurt to check with them on the status of your request.

When I talked to the girls about a month ago they said their historic staff had been reduced to two and the cards would take "quite a few weeks"

Suppose just wait and see.

Thanks, guys. Patience is fine, just making sure I did all the paperwork correctly :|

Brings a tear to your eye to know that American Men and Women were building these weapons of war even on Christmas Eve...

That's interesting looking at your build card. Do you have the original engine installed? I expect in 1943 production was going full blast.

Just wondering, did they returned your check like they did with mine? Ron

Most people looking under the hood at the engine couldn't tell the difference, It will still be fun to drive.

My two arrived today also, free of charge.

The WC12 Serial 8679122 (Army Number W227756) has the original engine T211-9998 and built July 21 1941

I now know the original engine number of my WC53 Serial 81545371 (Army Number U.S.A. 20163304-S). Built July 16 1942 the Carryall engine is long gone but I wonder if it is powering something else in USA? T214-23571

Sorry Tom

Just saw your question. Yes the WC12 came from the US as a clean farm truck still running (sort of)
