Hello,

What is the correct place to mount the rear lights on the '41;4x2; 1/2 ton panel van?
Are there special brackets? :?

Thanks

All the civilian vans had just the one taillight mounted on the left rear door Eric.

My military WC 36 trucks had angled brackets on the rear fenders, as all military trucks seem to have had two lights, but if I remember correctly your truck was a standard civilian pattern vehicle put into Army (or was it Navy ?) service, so it may well have had just the one light originally.

I don't have my WC36 any more to take a snap of, and I think Jeff has a WC38 pickup which would have different brackets plus a WC11 van which would have standard military lights and brakets.

Check inside the left rear door for a wiring hole maybe? Any original holes in the fenders ?
