Hello Jojo,
Well i did follow the TM and tighten them and then backed them off indeed 1/6th of a turn...guess it's like you say...all the new stuff has to wear in a bit .
That's the thing when you work on something for the very first time...you don't have a reference and the TM's are sometimes not detailed enough in their explanation
Irritated...no not at this moment...once i start using a big hammer...THEN I am irritated
greetz,

Re: My new DODGE WC-51 '43
Some more work done on the dodge....
Steering housing has had a complete overhaul. I wasn't happy with the coark NOS seals I ordered; So I let them make in rubber as can be seen on the second picture.Installed on the first picture.
the coark in my housing had completely desintegraded so I hope the rubber seals are more "age and wear" resistant. Only need to fill the housing with oil and she's good to go
installed :
Pitman arm complete overhaul :
brakelines renewed and installed on front axle...braking system 70% completed need to install the main brakecilinder and the lines that go to the back ;but first i need to replace the clips to keep them in place
some other add ons
And as a cherry on the cake...a guy I know sold me this baby :
original!!! M24A1 pedestal mount...very hard to find overhere
that's all for today

Hi Davy,
welcome to the BMG .50 Gun Club!
So you decided to go with the cal. 50 instead of the radio option. Good choice.
Do you need a .50?
I have a housing actually at eGun 4sale: http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=5495736
Hopefully you have finished the puzzle for Normandy 2016!
Keep on doing,
Joakim
