The well known Re-Enactors Club from Belgium is organizing one week across Belgium, from the Frenvch border southwest of Namur to the German Border near Monschau, following the path of the “Divisional Reserve” led by Captain Charles Scheffel, 9th Infantry Division back in 1944.

It's the "little sister" Event of the Santa Fe MV Event at the Liberty Park Museum at Overloon with many re-enactors groups, MV driving on a 1 mile circuit in the Museums Park + militaria fair. Focus is mainly on German WW2 MV!

Liberation Festival Pilsen, CZ-301 00 Pilsen (CZ).
Forgotten by many in Western Europe is the fact, that the Allied Forces liberated in the end of WW2 wide areas in the east that then later on became "satellite States" of the Sowjet Union. Back in 1945 the City of Pilsen was liberated by the troops of General Patton and the 17th Belgium Battalion - today to be remembered with the Patton Memorial at Pilsen and a friendship between Pilsen and the City of Mons (Belgium).
71 years after the End of WW2 and the end of the Sowjet Empire the City of Pilsen is today part of the European Community - and is remembering V-Day with an own Liberation Festival in large scale with full support of the Major of the City and local authorities. So there will be Concerts, Commemorations at the Patton Memorial with Veterans in Place, Convoy driving with MV as well as a MV collectors Camp and much more.
