Congrats. Is it an ambulance or a weapons carrier? Post some photos if you get the chance...

as koen stated it is a 64kd
koen , are you also on KTR ? :)

photo's included.....
it turned out, after undigging that the bed was of a 64 and it also has the reenforced chasis , the extra shock absorbers etc.....

it is actualy a 64kd without the KD part...

Get every manual you can for it. either digital, printed, or original. I like to get original, but use them only for looking at when clean(they are 70 years old, no more original are being printed).

I mainly use digital and print out the pages I need, or you can buy and use a reprint.

You did not list your location, but in the US, put Midwest Military, and Vintage Power Wagons on speed dial... :D

will correct that , my location is belgium - europe , not far from leuven.
but i will put both on speed dial :)

do have every manual for the 63 and some are useable for the 64 to.
the rest i will have to buy extra.

i do have the adress to get them digital and paper.
problem will be the funds.

and i do want to do it right , the 64 must be factory state .....
it will be my first so the learning curve is top

corrected and profile updated

the dodge being a 64 KD was a surprise , but it will be restored to original...
hope to get lots of info here, the inside of the 64KD is still a mystery to me.

Nice! You may be able to find some parts at the Ciney Militaria Expo (Belgium).

I was there in 2013 and did see a few vehicle parts vendors.
