WC-52 resturation
Hi guys
Today i started resturation of my WC-52, somthing i wanted to do for a looong time.
If i could work out how to post a pic i would, but gues that will be later.
On my truck the fueltank is red, i guess thats a replacement? it should be green right?

Looks like a nice start. John Bizel at Midwest Military will quickly become one of your best friends. I know I would have never gooton my WC-52 done without his help on parts and guidance during the restoration.

Re: WC-52 resturation
my problem is that my TM is norwegian and only show the norwegian dataplates. so picture like this is great.
Could you please tell me what the "title" on each plate is. A shop here have the dataplates so i can order them but they didnt know much about dodge so i had to tell them what i needed. (yeah i know it sounds strange, but they are j**p guys:)

Re: WC-52 resturation
I didn't know that. I have an early WC-63 I wonder if the data plate placement is the same between the early 52 and early 63 ?????

Re: WC-52 resturation
Hi
Thought i would post a update.
The dodge is now mosly broken down to bits and ready to be sand blastet.
Il keep the engin on the fraim and just work around it, It have been leaking so much oil over the years there is little rust. I used some gasoline and cleaned some of the frame and found some nice and shiny olive drab original paint. well maybe not shiny but in perfect condition. I was suprised to find that it was more green then i thought it would be. I thought i knew a lot about olive drab after years of modelbuilding, but i guess you learn somthing evryday.
I would post some more pic if i could but as th enoob i am i cant figure out how so il ask my new friend Vista52 to do it for me
Johnny
And no that is not my work drawings on the board in front of the parts:)
