NAVY - VC truck found
Frank found this VC 3 in the USA. It has the wrong engine code, but is otherwise quite complete. NAVY serial number on the doors and sides of the nose - presumably also on the tailgate but it's gone.
It's quite an interesting truck as he also found the original USA number (W-23488) and the truck has white stars on it, suggesting it did get outside the US during WW2. No other obvious NAVY mods except for evidence that a 5" square plate of some kind had been roughly attached (four screws) near the bottom of each door and then removed.
I've added the details to the V series survivors list;

Frank also has a photo of another intact VC3 sitting in the desert, but I'm not pursuing that until he tells me that he wants buy it or not - or even if it's for sale.

Frank corrected me on the USN number, I'll change it on the image but it'll take a while.
The other VC3 he found isn't for sale (yet) but he is working on it.
