2nd Annual So. Cal. BBQ is set for Oct. 1st, 12pm to when ever - drizzle or shine.
Same place, the only get together held in a junk yard/ burnt down wood mill.
As last time it is word of mouth, tell a friend. Local MVPA will also be invited. Most of the local guys have been to the yard. If you haven't been, PM for directions. Devore, CA

No entry fee, No vehicle fee, no food costs - just enjoy an afternoon hangin-out.
In order to help with the food costs, this year we well have a silent auction. Please donated items of interest will help. Thanks. Trophies will also be given to stir things up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Re-posting this as a reminder and to avoid confusion with the date on the prior tread.
Let's plan on silent auction and trophies for 3pm.
Donated auction items
New hat, shirt and stickers from Rick Sultan at Sultan Gear.
NOS half ton brake drums from Leonard Nettles.
30 issues of Power Wagon Advertiser from Mike Clark.
good looking half ton rim, anonymous
Thanks to the above mentioned. More welcome.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As mentioned last year, unfortunately this is not a safe environment for children. Please make arrangements.
New - Vehicles can be bought in during the week prior if needed. Saturday night we will have a camp fire going, bring a camping chair. Anyone is welcome to camp the night, space will be set side.

I guess with the "NO KIDS" policy, I won't be able to attend.

Re: BBQ - Oct. 1st 2011
BBQ is around the corner and I need to get a really ugly, disturbing even, trophy together too be center piece in Leonard's trophy room. He and his wife Kay have been pulling in to many good looking one's.
I haven't asked for RSVP's but am hoping and planning for the same group plus some. Can hardly wait.

Ed,
Looks like I'll have to pass as well as I have to play army that weekend and for a few more months before retirement. Too bad I won't be able to kick the tires of "our" new WC63, partner...
