Show your garage.
So, how do we all keep ou vehicles? Those who post photos give us a peek, sometimes making others very jealous. In the end it's the running Dodge that counts, but given how much time one spend, or might spend there, the garage matters.
Mine. Built next to a friends garage by my dad and me for around 500 Euros, monthly cost 20 euros. Cold in winter, cramped unless I keep it tidy, but I like it. 4x5 meters.
In summer I enjoy backing out and working in the sunshine.

One WC52, 1944 chassis, 1943 cargo bed, 1943 engine, plenty of repro parts, all restored by an amateur.

Re: Show your garage.
This was mine as I was working on a couple of projects a while ago:
I just started my dream shop project two weeks ago:
This is it today:
Looking forward to not tripping over something every time I take a step! Did I say I was excited! Only took five decades to get to this point.

- My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.
Re: Show your garage.
Zeph, you have just made me hate my garage oh-so-much more...

Hi Zeph,
that's a great solution - I guess everyone would love to have a place like that!
But you should allways remember the yacht owners wise words:
"the yacht you own is allways one feet to small..."
...1, 2,3: you have 5 new Projects and the new garage it is filled to the top as well.
Keep on doing,
Joakim

Re: Show your garage.
Okay, my turn!
So that's my new home for the Dodge with some space left for further "Expansion" of my collection.
If I win in the Lottery I would park the Halftrack with the Quadmount and the Sherman on the right and hang up the P-51 under the Roof. - The C-47 would not fit in and has to park outside...
Due to the fact that I'm still waiting for the Jackpot I have only decorated the Garage with a tiny new patriotic item:
Keep 'em Rolling,
Joakim

I've stumbled around for many years in my garage...believe me...and I do feel extremely fortunate. Those 14 years of putting in 50 plus hours a day at work, and then going to school 3 to 5 hours a night years ago didn't hurt. Nowadays I could do it in two years rather than fourteen years. There was no internet back then...damn!! All that classroom and library time!
Oh well, lost a bit of my life and have no friends, but I do finally have a garage I hope I can enjoy.

I know it will never be large enough..., so I can call it a start. I still have two acres behind my house just sitting there like an unpainted canvas.

The flag has two too many stars on it, however.

Re: Show your garage.
Hi Zeph,
the nice "old one" with the 48 stars is at home and became a special item of my collection: an Army Veteran folded it for me this year in Normandy and I want to keep it that way...
Beside of that: it was it the only one I could get in that size....
Have a relaxed Sunday,
Joakim

I do have a very large 48 star flag that I hope to have on display soon. Hopefully, here:

I can only imagine that those metal buildings would be toasty! I was pondering a metal building and ended up going with the wood. It has cooled off here of late, but it has still been over 100 degrees everyday...so still a bit warm for some. I will be adding a radiant barrier under the shingles and a ridge vent that runs the width of the garage. Those are supposed to help, but I'm not expecting it to be super cool in there.
